Grandma's Mince on Toast


  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Onion
  • 500g Premium Beef Mince
  • 2-3 Tbsp Curry Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Oxtail Soup Powder
  • 2 Beef OXO Cubes/Dashida Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil
  • Butter


Step 1 - Prepare Vegetables

Grate the carrot and onion.

Step 2 - Sauté

Sauté the grated carrot and onion in olive oil and butter for 6-8 minutes.

Step 3 - Cook Mince

Add the beef mince and fry for 6-8 minutes or until the beef is crumbled.

Step 4 - Season

Add the oxtail soup powder, OXO cubes or Dashida powder, curry powder, salt, and pepper.

Step 5 - Simmer

Cook on medium-low heat for 45 minutes.

Step 6 - Toast Bread

Slice your favourite Grizzly bread (or thick white slice TipTop bread) and toast it.

Step 7 - Assemble

Cover the buttered toast with the cooked mince. Season with white pepper if available.

Step 8 - Serve

Your Grandma's Mince Toast is ready to serve.
